Neville began his singing career at the age of 7 and learnt the guitar at the age of 10. During his school years, Neville participated in the school choirs, at one stage being the only boy.
Neville than started entertaining at the Senior Citizens Club,
local nursing homes and churches.
Neville along with many others, commenced The Cohuna Music Club in 1982. He also started his band career at the same time.
At 19 years old he re-recorded his first Album “The Country Touch”.His backing band was a young band, all 16 years and under. Some of the bands in which Neville was involved with were
The River Ramblers, Champagne Country, Krystal Country, and
4H Country.
Tapes Neville has recorded in the past include, Champagne Country, Pure crystal Country, and Dads kind of country, in wich Neville’s father chose the songs.
Some highlights of Neville’s career include working for the Champagne Tours entertaining many coach loads of people. He did this for about 6 years. He has been involved with various music clubs during his career as well as entertaining at various fumctions.
These include Weddings, parties, funerals, clubs and festivals.
Neville has also enjoyed judging at Junior Talent Quests.
Neville’s love of singing and playing country music started over 37 years ago with a lot of inspiration from family and friends. Over the years he has enjoyed travelling around Victoria, and N.S.W. supporting Country Music Clubs and Festivals, playing music, judging talent quests, meeting and playing with some wonderful people. Neville’s wife Kathy learnt to play the Bass Guitar over 19 years ago and now travels with him as the duo.
